Designed in 2023 and created in 2024, Dutch Barn at Wenallt depicts the bucolic setting of a rusted Dutch barn, nestling in the hills near Newcastle Emlyn in Wales. The reds and greys of the time-ravaged manmade structure demand attention amid the rural beauty of the surrounding Welsh farmland.
Dutch Barn at Wenallt is hand woven at 12 epi using coloured Worsted yarn on a cotton warp. The panel is mounted on a 18mm wooden board.
